Nostalgic video game causes supervisor play after 20 years

Obviously being a gamer I love to look at and play the good old games. So one day during my down time at work I was looking at video of old video games and was watching the classic Legend of Zelda for the NES. My supervisor looked over at me and his face lit up and he was like I remember that game was so awesome.

Keep in mind where I work we are encouraged to work on our businesses during our down time and sense I sell computer video games I was doing research.

He then processed to ask me how he could play it. So we found an NES emulator and the rom for Legend of Zelda. Note here we both owned an NES and had that game. To my surprise he was hooked big time. He first day playing the game he went home an hour later because he was so into the game.

He basically started playing Legend of Zelda on Wednesday afternoon and finished the video game by Friday afternoon. It was quite impressive if you ask me.

The reason for this story is game play is key if you are developing a video game. The video games now day are all about graphics and looking pretty no game play. Developers take a note to this story if a 20 year plus game can cause some to play then it is in your best interest to see what made the game so great.
