Manhunt 2 still not out of the U.K. Woods

Manhunt 2 still in trails with the United Kingdoms rating systems of whether to release the game or not.

On January 25th the Creator of Manhunt 2 questioned why the High Court sent the game back to the appeals committee.

The event marked the latest episode in the almost year-long struggle to try to get the highly violent and controversial horror action adventure game Manhunt 2 released in the UK. This is what Manhunt 2 creator is questioning, the judgment made by the High Court ruled that the Video Appeals Committee which gave the game an 18-certificate should reconsider its decision.

The catch and the reason for all the trouble is the interpretation of the word "harm" which the British Board of Film Classification had be misinterpreted, resulting in error of the law.

Of course the creator of the game hit back against the High Court's decision, this decision took over a full days time in the Royal Courts of Justice on the 25 of January. Rockstar stats that the game has already been released in the US should now simply be released in the UK.

The company is quoted with saying, "We believe the VAC decision was correct and do not understand the court's decision to expend further public resources to censor a game that contains content well within the bounds established by the BBFC's 18-plus ratings certification."

The original seven members of the VAC which has been involved from the beginning will reconvene and light of Mr Justice Mitting will reconsider their decision their decision. This verdict is understood to be imminent.
